Horizon Plan

 Membership Development 

1. The Colorado Council Director and Local Association Presidents will promote NAIW meetings, to include the Council Meeting, Regional Conference, and National Conventions.  This will increase involvement and allow members to see NAIW’s vision at different levels.

2. The Colorado Council will continue to participate with PIIAC & CPCU conventions.

3. Council Director will include Members-At-Large in all correspondence and emails regarding Colorado Council Activities.

Leadership Development

1. Ensure incoming local association presidents are using the Local President Leadership Kit provided by National.  Council Director should offer to set up a training meeting for local association presidents.  This should be done in a timely manner relevant to their term in office.

2. The Colorado Council along with Council Director will promote mentoring at the local association level. 

Education 

1. The Colorado Council will promote education during local association meetings and should complete at least one NAIW course per fiscal year.

2. The Colorado Council will continue to look at new designations available to members and promote NAIW designations.

Partnerships 

1. The Colorado Council Director will work with local association presidents on Corporate Partnerships along with advertising partnerships at the local and national levels.

Technology 

3. The Colorado Council Director will work with local association presidents to utilize NAIW information on industry advancements.
