Greetings NAIW members in Colorado! This note is long overdue, and for that I apologize. Each year seems to fly by faster than the previous one, leaving me further and further behind.
As I think of yet another year coming to an end, I remember the seasons of the year and realize that membership in NAIW has been very much like those "seasons" during my career and life. As we go through those "seasons" of our career and our lives, NAIW can and will be an important part of it. There will be times when as a member you need the "Mentoring" offered by other members, and at other times you will be the "Mentor". There will be seasons of growth and seasons of leadership. Seasons of giving support and seasons of receiving it. Whatever season you are in, you are important to your local Association, Colorado Council, Region VII and National!
I am very excited to welcome the following members to NAIW:
Colleen Kreft new member of Insurance Women of Denver
Lisa McRoberts new member of Insurance Professionals of Larimer County
Paula Hawkins new member at large
Morgan Dischner new member of Insurance Professionals of Weld County
Melissa McDonald new member of Insurance Professionals of Weld County
LeeAnn Smith new member of Insurance Professionals of Boulder County
Erik Bergman new member of Insurance Professionals of North Metro Denver
Leslie Woods new member of Insurance Professionals of North Metro Denver
For those of you I have yet to meet, I look forward to meeting you during my visit to your Association. May each of you find your "Seasons" within NAIW as important to you as they have been to me.
I hope the Holiday Season was good to you, and wish each and everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Yours in Fellowship

John C. Maxwell in his book "17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork" defines what separates a great team from a group of individuals.
The Law of Significance tells us that one is too small a number to achieve greatness.
Which people do you admire most? Often times people admire achievers. But as much as we admire achievement, the truth is that teamwork is at the heart of a great achievement.
Thank-you for being a great team! I am so proud of the way you challenge, support, and encourage each other! It has been a pleasure being your Council Director!
